Camping Safari

Camping Safaris
Imagine being right in the heart of the jungle, taking dinner under the blanket of star-studded skies, witness a shooting star moving fast like a stone dropping in a vacuum on one side, and the ire laughter of a fully-fed hyena on the other.
A few nights staying under canvas in the African bush gives the visitor an impression of being close to Africa in true safari style and is thoroughly recommended. Safari camps offer a surprisingly high, even luxurious, and standard of comfort and personal service. Spacious insect – proofed tents are provided with twin beds, private shower and flush toilet. Discreet electric lights above each bed, in the dressing area and shower are there if needed, but the more traditional lamps are not forgotten either. Each tent has its own cheerful steward, who provides hot water or steaming showers at a moments notice, removes discarded, dusty garments without being asked and returns them freshly laundered. He warms the beds with hot water bottles on colder nights and all the while, keeps everything immaculately clean. Full dining and bar facilities are in central mess tents or in attractive open buildings. A feature of most safari camps is the huge welcoming camp fire, out in the open under the African starlit sky
